Hui wir haben Sydney heil hinter uns gebracht. Eine irre Stadt, total busy und verrueckte Menschen. Was aber wirklich total genial ist, Sushi ist sowas von spottbillig, dass es mitlerweile zu unserem Hauptnahrungsmittel geworden ist (neben Muffins und Bier). Nach dem ersten Tag in Sydney den wir zum aklimatisieren gebraucht haben (von 30 auf 20 Grad hat uns nicht wirklich gluecklich gestimmt) haben wir am zweiten Tag dann Shopping und Sightseeing betrieben. So absolut geniale Shops und Klamotten wie hier gibts wohl niergends, aber mit Bedacht auf unsere Finanzen haben wir uns brav zurueckgehalten und nur Schuhe gekauft (was sonst...). Die Oper hat uns schon ziemlich beeindruckt und beim Spazieren ueber die Harbour Bridge waren wir einem kleinen Asthmaanfall nahe. Doch die gemuetlichen Lokale am DArling Harbour konnten uns schnell kurieren. Im Rotlichtmilieu, wo auch unsere gemuetliche Heimstadte war, konnten wir dann auch noch das Nachtleben von Sydney geniessen. Nach ausgiebiger Zirkusschule (Jounglieren und Devil Sticks im Park) mit zwei Israelis und nach einem gratis Abendessen bei der Babe Nation (tolles Bodypainting von leichtbekleideten Damen) gings dann ab ins Empire, scheiss Musik aber gratis Sekt bis 10 Uhr. Dann gings weiter in die Worldbar (der einizige Club mit wirklich guter Musik) wo wir bis in die fruehen Morgenstunden getanzt haben (Naja, eigentlich sind wir um 1 ins Bett da wir ja in der Frueh unser Mietauto abholen mussten). Mit einem suessen kleinen Toyota Yaris sind wir jetzt auf dem Weg von Sydney nach Brisbane. Nach anfaenglichen Seitenverwirrungen beim Fahren (vorallem Blinken und Schalten) sind wir jetzt in Byron Bay angekommen. Auf der Strecke selber haben wir leider nicht besonders viel gesehen, da die Entfernungen die wir zuruecklegen mussten doch nicht zu unterschaetzen sind. Heute gehts noch einen Sprung ins Nachtleben der teuersten Hippystadt der Welt und dann morgen weiter nach Brisbane.
